Thanks again for your help. I have the LG 50PT250-TA which does have a Dolby diigital decoder so using an optical cable should make this work seemingly. Thoughts?

Is this possible as I got the system free but need to solder on a green jack as is missing and was the reason for give away. Thanks for any help in advance folks :)
