Hi, i'm having the same problem with my sony bravia that i bought in the US. unfotunately i didnt read yuor post before. how did you finally solved the problem? did the hdmi-dvi-vga connection work? did you try any scaler that now they sell on line? please let me know. Thanks Gabriele
