Thanks for the response, appreciate it. It is possible, we had it set up this way on the previous model Yamaha, the 683. The set up menus are different on the 685, so we can't see the option. Will keep looking...

Hi, I want to set up the audio part of my amp to play audio from my HDMI connection (which'd be a laptop) and an external mike connected via red/white cables to AUDIO in. There used to be an option to do this on my older 683 amp, but I can't figure out how to do this now on the newer model...
