Many thanks to the two replies to my thread, since both mentioned something about the Pins, I used a brand new S-Video cable that came with the RCA converter and same thing Black and white. The converter does have red, white and yellow input ports,, but I did not attempt to connect anything to...

I purchased an RCA S-Video to HDMI converter and connected the S-Video to my HIgh8 video camera and the HDMI to my TV. When I play a cassette from my camera, I am getting a black and white picture on the tV, but no color or sound
