I tried all suggestions with no success. My remote was from Spectrum and was many rears old. It was programmable. Today I went to Spectrum and traded the old remote for a newer model. Great news, all works perfect now. Thanks for your help. Greg

I have a Yamaha YAS-209 sound bar. I can use my Spectrum TV remote to adjust the volume. The TV remote will also power off the sound bar. I am using the HDMI-ARC to my Samsung TV. I can only turn on the sound bar by its own remote. HELP!
