Found an old phone charger that was a USB to MicroUSB cable, works perfect XD Thank you though

Microsoft states here http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/controller-pc-compatibility that one can use a wireless controller with their PC by simply downloading and installing a driver. Could anyone provide further instruction on this? How do you actually sync the two together?
