The question is does the sensors tab show any load on the nvidia Gpu?

Open GPU-Z and see wether or not you have a load on the nvidia GPU (using the sensors tab).Alternatively,open Nvidia control panel and look within application settings at the default gpu selected for it ,it should state "High performance Nvidia GPU".

Make sure the laptop switches to the dedicated gpu,you might be playing on the integrated GPU.

What CPU,how much ram,etc etc...since you have a mobile gpu state the name of the laptop.
