My charging port went out, and unfortunately, I wasn't smart enough to default it before the battery died. I want to sell it, but I need to default it, and the only way I know requires the phone to be on. Is there anyway to default it with the phone off? I doubt this, but any help is appreciated.

Sorry for the delay. It started working fine again this morning. I didn't even do anything... I just made Windows install it to see what it would try and do. Downloading the drivers from the and manually installing didn't work... This must be a coincidence.

Update: I just ran: Microsoft Fixit, and that didn't help.

Up until just a few days ago, I was able to use my Asus as a MSD just fine. It's not working, and my DM in Win says it's that Windows cannot load the drivers. Although, it charges just fine. How do I fix this? I'm not sure what I changed. Additional Info: Win7 ULT 64-bit and Asus MeMo pad 7 173x
