Could be like the GPU, I'd try and use use the on board graphics on the i3 Try unplugging the HDD sata cable and see if the BIOS pops up

You can try typing "View Network Connections" in the Cortana search bar, it should bring up all your available network connections. You should be able to see if the Wifi is disabled or needs a driver
