kindle fire wifi signal is working but the internet says connection problem

May have to set to default - will I be able to recover my books?

kindle fire wifi signal is working but the internet says connection problem

I'm on my computer now - Kindle Fire is 'connected' to wifi but doesn't connect with Amazon Store. Any suggestions, y'all? Thx Hans
