    VMware Workstation vs. Oracle VM VirtualBox

    Depends upon requirements. VMware is for enterprise use mostly. Virtual box is good for end user and is freeware.

    Removing the "S" in HTTPS so I can use internet.

    some websites wont work without HTTPS. if you are unable to browse using HTTPS there must be something wrong with the certificates or systems data and time. Also virus/malware infection cannot be ruled out. Can you post error screenshot for better understanding?
