I have a microphone that is stereo, and uses the 3.5 mm stereo connector. But my computer for some reason only works with mono 3.5mm microphone connector, the one with only 2 contacts on the connector. Is there any way i can re wire the stereo 3.5mm to make it act as mono.

hayden, since your laptop is a toshiba, they generally integrate a secondary wireless connections program, usually intels proset crap. There should be a way to set the windows connection manager as default, or search through ur programs for proset or intel wifi or something.

dslr's are trash for video tbh, ive owned a canon 5d mark iii although its actually pretty good with video. Its just really overpriced to buy a dslr for video as the whole point of dslr is to provide a real preview in the viewfinder, you sound to want a good mirrorless point and shoot.

why not just run valves vr ready test on steam under tools, works a treat to tell u if ur machine is shit or not, basically.

ye those older laptops use fluorescent tube backlights that are the mercury ones. They burn out eventually, or get shattered as they are glass. above post should be helpful enough.
