When I do a search in the new Google Photos ap, I can only see places and things and not people. Anybody else experience this?

I have similar problems with Chrome. Playing videos at 1080p or higher resulted in severe lag/stutter but while playing the same youtube video with Internet Explorer everything was good. I realized that I had accidentally turned of my cooling fan on my laptop which limited my cpu speed to 0.77...
