Thank you for posting. This happened to me today with my 4 month old Asus tower. Plugged a new Galaxy S4 (new to me, not world) into front panel USB and comp stopped mid sentence. Power light remained on for 2 min then nothing. Couldn't reboot for 10 min and freaked, checking all connections...
