GEC,sorry my question was badly worded.I am referring to a Toshiba laptop which is on Ethernet cable.At the moment I am connected to the internet with WIFI only,& no Ethernet cable connected.I would prefer to be connected to the internet with Ethernet cable only & with the option of switching on...

On cable for internet.WIFI lit up on modem .cable lit up.If I turn off WIFI I lose my connection to the InternetWhen I left click Inet icon,this pops up BelongUMHERDPT. Any ideas
