my laptops screen goes black

Sounds like a faulty connection somewhere between the LCD display and the laptop. When the screen goes black, if you jiggle it backwards and forwards, does it come back on?

Gmail vs Outlook or Hotmail!!

I personally prefer gmail or yahoo accounts over Hotmail. Just create an account in each and see which you prefer.
