    Sounds like RAM memory, this would explain the failure to POST, System specs would help tremendously. Any Beeps? Anything at all on the screen when you start? What keyboard button are you pushing to get hang? Can you post a YouTube video of this process?

    How old is the TV? I would bet its a capacitor blown out on the power supply board. Do you have the technical experience and a little electrical knowledge to take the back off the TV and look for a blown out capacitor? Service manuals can usually be downloaded online.
