MERGED QUESTION Question from himashaamandi20011031 : "replacing the display" can we replace display of prestigio PMT5487?

well ......mine is not under warranty.IS there any other way I could fix this myself instead of going to the local tech??

my prestigio tablet shows only a black screen. sometimes when i press the power button about 50times it shows the display for about 2 seconds and turns black immediately.though the screen is black when i touch the screen can hear screen unlocking sound and touch sounds.what should i do to fix this?
