Sum video cards' DVI-output CAN output an audio signal to a HDMI input on a tv or receiver. So you would need a DVI-to-HDMI cable, DVI on GPU to HDMI on your tv/receiver. As for what cards actually support this, im not sure, but i would imagine most newer card do(ex..AMD-HD5series and up?)...

if ur budget is 200, if it's possible, id would be best to get 5.1. many 5.1 systems are extremely small, and work very well also. lol, if my surround sound system didnt fit in my room, id be knocking walls down to make it fit... i believe good audio is just as improtant as good...

I really wouldnt suggest "converting" the speaker wire into a RCA cable. If you want a better quality connection, buy a set of RCA cables, and run them from the AV-receiver too the RCA jacks on the subs amp. Using the LFE input on the sub's amp would be the preferred way of hooking it up. If...
