The only option i have available is speakers. I have connected the aux cable to the correct laptop port. Could I be connecting something else wrong? Back of the tv perhaps?

Can you explain in further in step by step detail? It doesn’t give me an option to select the jack. Under play back options it’s just “speakers” but no sound.
