The 980m is the better gpu, it performs at the level of a GTX 1060. The i7-7700hq is a substantialy better CPU though. However the 6300hq is fine and will not bottle neck. So if you want better fps in gaming go for the one with the 980m. If you however want better processing power, buy the one...
