The second one is better since it has a SSD and just that. SSDs are one of the bottlenecks when building. The second would be CPU. I mention them in that order because the chances that you'll be working on a gigantic project that would seriously stress your CPU are pretty small at this point...

Intel drivers were installed automatically by Windows (I can see in HD family in dxdiag). There are no other models out there that have that CPU from the hp pavilion g6 series.

@orlbuckeye: Please read my post more carfully: I already did this and it didn't work. I'm getting the same yellow bubble as I do when installing the drive from AMD.com.

I thibk we're not on the same page xD. It says that it installed but nothing gets installed. There are no AMD folders anywhere. Catalyst Control Cebter doesn't exist and there's nothing related to AMD in the registry/ device manager/ control panel installed programs.

There's nothing to uninstall. The drivers won't get installed.
