When you buy a new hard drive for a laptop (say a Serial ATA-150 drive) how do you know if it is compabable with your motherboard? Seems like (at least to my novice eyes) that this could be an important issue given it's often hard to find out about the motherboard in one's laptop.

Isn't this a Clevo notebook being distributed by Eurocom? Perhaps that would be a better title for the article, as U.S. folks might want to buy it through Mtech or another distributor. Also, I'd note that Clevo in my experience is a little mysterious about exactly is in their laptops. For...
