Is my DAC such as fiio e10k (already have it) good enough for good active speakers or studio monitors like Mackie cr4, or is this DAC designed especially for headphones? Fiio does have a line out which is separate from the headphone jack (with modifiable gain).

Is fiio e10k good enough for speakers (active ones obviously) or is it recommended only for headphones? I mean is there a difference between a DAC designed for headphones and for speakers?

Hi, I want to buy a soundcard for my akg k240 (55ohm) because they need a bit of amplification. I considered Fiio E10k but I've heard it does not offer good positioning in gaming. I believe something in a price range of a Sound Blaster Z would satisfy me but I am not sure if it has a headphone...
