Whoa thank you. So VGA to RGB converters actually work?

HDMI, DVI, VGA, S-Video, Composite, Component (Computer to TV)

I thought VGA doesn't translate into RCA directly? Or do those wires convert the signals? My question isn't about finding wires, it's more about learning which signals translate directly. For example DVI and HDMI signals are the same and can be converted directly. I just want to know which can...

Thanks on proving my point. But I'm guessing nobody can help me with this?

    Desktop Audio (5.1 or 2.1)

Hmm I care more about music and movies. I mostly watch on DVDs. Would this matter at all? Are DVDs also 2 channel?

VGA to RCA (Composite) does nothing. I've already read another thread on this forum in which multiple people said that a straight VGA to RCA converter wouldn't work except for very few graphics cards because VGA and RCA uses different types of signals and that one would need a VGA to RCA...

Is high end computer audio worth it

Hah, I just realized that this thread was pretty old. xD But I'll just put my 2 cents in. I'm pretty sure that my old 2.1 speakers I got from a junkyard for free doesn't anywhere near match the speakers I currently have which is just a 30 bucks difference.

Is high end computer audio worth it

Why are you guys even arguing with a troll? It's as pointless as trying to prove that your wife is wrong, because no matter what she's right even if she's wrong. xD Well yeah I bet a lot of people wasted their time reading and replying to this thread, a thread without any substance.

    Desktop Audio (5.1 or 2.1)

I'm just wondering whether I should go for a cheaper 5.1 Audio or the same price in a 2.1 Audio. I went to fry's electronics and it seemed like most of the 2.1 were more expensive than the 5.1. I'm using it as a desktop computer for Movies, Gaming, and Music. Also, is this the right section to...

HDMI, DVI, VGA, S-Video, Composite, Component (Computer to TV)

Hi, I'm just asking about the differences of these. I know that HDMI and DVI uses digital signals and that component uses analog signals. I know that Component RGB is pure video while Composite RYW is one video, 2 sound (Stereo). I just wonder how exactly these work so that I can connect various...
