    Does base clock speed matter?

    The CPU I am looking at is an i5-8250u but I noticed the clock speed is 1.6-3.4 Will the base clock speed affect performance? I don't really understand how it all works. Thanks in advance

    I heard that you can charge an Acer Swift 3 with type-c. Can a SF314-52G-57L8 model be charged with type-c? Thank you.
