I have a diffrent key, I just wanna know can I use the same cd since I got the key online.

So I got this old laptop I wanna upgrade, its Asus G60JX. I wanna add a ocz vertex 2 ssd drive and win 8.1, I have a win 8.1 iso cd from a desktop I just built and was wondering if I could use that same cd in the laptop with a new product key I just got. And also should I be using 32 bit or a 64...
