ouch, that machine is about $3,000 after I custmized it! Should I wait for the Sandy Bridge Intels? I want an i7 but i heard a lot of complaints and the benchmark is not that great

Since i7s for laptops runs super hot, what other cpu in the intel family and amd family would be below right next to, closer to an i7? I use it for everything gaming graphic designing business students web surf music studio all!
