    Well i know how to use iOS, seeing as i had a iPhone 5 before this. I might sell the note 3 in 1-2 years and use that money on buying whatever is a middle phone by then.

    So right now I have a note 3, my dad wants to get rid of all android phones :D,so he offered me to sell my note 3, get a 4s now then his 5s when the 6 comes out and so on, ie a 6 when the 6s comes out, or keep my note 3 for 3-4 years, we're on tmobile.

    Can I purchase an unlocked phone to use as an iPod Touch?

    Not required you can use it and activate it without a sim card as long as you have a wifi.
