Thank you for the reply. Im unable to check if any thing has been corrupted as I cant click anything not even the home button but I am able to do CTRL, ALT & DEL and get the task bar up. Do you have any ideas how I can get around it?

Please Help - I have just unistalled a printer off the laptop and had to re-start it for it to finish the uninstall. Once the laptop has started back up I have input the passwords required as normal but once I get to the home screen it appears normal but then the icons all dissapear then return...
