    cannot boot into safe mode/ Vista Home Premium/blank screen w/ blinking cursor.

    It works! Pressed zero and power button. Then pressed F8. Got an screen of options, chose last best config and lo and behold! Went to blank screen first then the login screen appeared! Thanks!
