Malwarebytes is a well-known and good anti-malware program. The official website where you can download it is: https://www.malwarebytes.org/. You can just delete the email I suppose, it's in the thrash folder for a reason right? ;)

I'm using uBlock at the moment, but I think this one is only available for Chrome. You can just add it as extension by finding it in Chrome Web Store. If you can't find it just type uBlock in the search bar of the store.
