    They are on wifi. So there is no problem with the newer computers then if torrents don't download as fast as on the older computers?

    Yep, I do mean torrents. We have 5 laptops in the house and only 2 download torrents really quickly, the 1 is old and the other was really cheap, but downloading torrents on them is a dream.

    Have two Acer computers, one is about a year older than the other, but downloads are much faster on that one than on the new one, why is that? Is there some way to fix it?
