Configuring Asus Xonar DX with HD 558's + (microphone later)
So I just got a pair of Sennheiser HD 558's, as well as a used Asus Xonar DX sound card. I will not be using a speaker setup with the card, only the headphones. Do I have to disable the audio drivers in my motherboard BIOS in order to take advantage of the sound card? And will disabling that... -

Gaming Headphones w/ decent sound stage?
Was looking at the ever popular Audio Technica ATH-M50's, but I have read that they have quite a small soundstage, so directional audio like footsteps or gunfire in FPS games all sounds closer than they should. Is there another closed headphone in the $150 range that performs well for PC gaming?
