I figured it out guys. The issue is that Turtle Beach installed this plastic barrier around the headphone jack port so any headphones with a thick covering near the end of the jack will not fit properly. This will cause the mic to not work on your headset, the left and right ear will work but...

Just wondering if anybody has tried this out or not. Using and Z22 inline amplifier and connect a different headset into it. Are you still able to adjust all the volumes and use all the features on the amplifier? Assuming the headset used it a 4-contact 3.5mm jack. Im interested in trying this...
