    As the HD does not have any recovery partition, i must find a way to start from scratch, i.e. a bootable USB drive Thus the question: how to get/create a bootable HP USB drive, which then allows me to completely reinstall new system files and new windows.

    Hi ... got a HP Pavillion G6, without HD. I inserted another HP HD, which tested as proper. However the system cannot boot from this HD (Win). Where can I find boot files to download to an USB Stick? What do I need to do to get the NB running again? Thanks for your help! Hans
