SAME thing is happening to me on my MacBook Air. I've installed the latest version of the OS, PRAM and SMC reset like 80 times over the last 3 days and still nothing. The trackpad and keyboard work intermittently after hard reboot SOMETIMES but most of the time is instantly stuck upon load...
