With the all black screen I press power button + menu button + volume up button and it restarts the phone in recovery mode. From there I was able to slept factory reset. But after that I am still with a black screen and and phone that will not start up. It will sometimes bring me to samsung s6...

By restarting it in not safe mode...but the other mode...where you can do factory reset

i did factor reset on my samsung s6 after having black screen of death and flashing lights at the top. Went to reboot after factory reset and still getting black screen and light flashing. I guess this phone is done for good?
