    It's crazy, but I just switched the input from Component to Composite, and it changed to color. After 2 years of being fine the other way. Give the TV a few seconds to respond after you switch to Composite. I was not waiting long enough yesterday when I tried that.

    I just bought a hisense tv and when I hook my DVD player up the picture is black and white how do I get it to color

    I was having the same problem with my Haier TV. All of a sudden, it was in black and white after two years. I switched the input from Component to Composite, and it fixed it.
