    New laptop making faint crackling/ buzzing sound

    I have a new asus notebook laptop and when it is turned on, it makes a faint crackling buzzing noise from the keyboard or vent. I turned the speakers off. I do not think it is the fan. The noise is louder when I plug in the charger.
