I also just got the Walmart 599 Hp pavilion gaming rig and opened it up. I also added the extra 8gb into the open slot- awesome! But! There is only one hdd/ssd slot. And it appears there is no m.2 slots. I will upgrade the 1tb 7200rpm to a 500gb ssd soon. Hope this helps and bottom line...
