No the dell doesn't have a key on the bottom. so I will have to buy windows 8? That is devastating news. Please, I know someone knows away around this,

My hard drive died, I lost all files, but installed a new hard drive. I purchased windows 8 re installation recovery disks but it will ask me for the product key. Will I be able to retrieve it during the installation process? I have a dell laptop it is only 2 years old. The warranty just ran out...
