Thanks for the response. I want to try to make repair - would hate to toss a TV out that has been problem free and has such a great picture. Will look for main board seller that has a return policy, if possible. Have seen others replace board and their TV fire back up. Hoping for same luck.

It started turning off on its own, video would end but audio would continue for 30 seconds, and then that would end, too. Repair tech came by house, fiddled with remote, and now it won't turn on at all. He says main board is problem. If so, where do I get one?
