I'd say wait. Both kits aren't quite there yet. Of the two, they both have the pros and cons. The cabling is a big issue. I'm waiting for decent wireless. And they need to fix the motion sickness issue. If you just can't wait, I'd say vive. Oculus' proprietary store is a pain.

It's kind of like running two monitors at the same time. It's recommended that you can pump 90+ FPS on both to avoid sickness, though there are some workarounds. You want a GPU with lots of RAM. For rift/vive you're looking at a 1070 low to middlin and ideally a 1080 or 1080ti (when they drop)...

Are you on WIN7?

I like the btm one. It looks more like the expensive gaming/streaming ones.
