    I've solved the problem. I switched the graphics settings in the BIOS to use Discrete only, after installing the AMD drivers everything works great now. Looks like my integrated gpu was the cuplrit, doesnt seem to be working anymore. Thanks to ThomasJ93 for all the help, really appreciate it :)

    Still the same problem after repeating the steps but with installing the latest drivers. Am i supposed to wait after the reboot after installing the drivers?

    By uninstalling them, you mean going into device manager, selecting display adapters and removing them? My current laptop has a dedicated and integrated gpu, remove drivers for both?

    Nope. I was loading up Dota 2 when the screen went black. I shut it down and ever since the same problem. Tried system checkup and system restore, still the same problem
