    I got my solution back in April 2014, but feel free to post helpful hints for everyone else. This is apparently an irritating thing on all laptops... Thanks all and Good luck to ya.

    did you try the wake up on keyboard to enabled before restarting,,, don't know why that mattered, but the second time we had to fix it that helped... Really annoying, wish I knew why it changed to begin with. Good luck.
