Are you sure? It's only the microphone that has a problem, will this fix the problem?

It works perfectly on my phone but I'd rather have it to work on my computer. Also it's a problem with the mic, not the audio play back

It works using my phone if that helps, I can't test it on another computer as I don't have another one available...

A gioteck mono headset. And I can try it on another, I'll do it now.

To start, sorry if this is in the wrong place, I couldn't find a suitable tab for it so here goes: I've recently got a new computer, and headset. The computer is working fine yet the headset sounds muffled on Skype... I've tried re-installing the audio drivers yet nothing good has come from it...
