Thanks for the information. Now I have to figgure out what happened with the computer as it won't start at all.. Is it possible that a deffective VRAM could have that impact on the PC, that it won't start at all?

Won't power on with or whitout battery installed. AC adapter is connected and checked ok for funktionality. Removed battery and CMOS clock battery for full reset without luck. Problem started 2 day ago when I was to power up the laptop and nothing happened. No leds light up at all. The day...
