The o my other alternative option I can think if is buy a brand new SSD which I can a d get within a couple of days

I have an old Toshiba satellite laptop been doing some work on it to get more knowledge of laptops instead of desktops I upgraded it's ram successfully to 4gb and I upgraded to Windows 7 and 10 successfully on it's original 40gb HDD however i put in a 250 gb SSD that previously was only used...
