Ahh the devils canyon! I believe is a great choice. Great for all including multitasking, gaming and graphic design and development in your case. Although you may want to look at upgrading your ram also. I would think maybe another 2-4 gb would do the trick! I hope this helps you out

Yes it would help but it also depends on what type of i5 that could be a connection problem between the mainboard and the keyboard Good luck!
